Everything the app can do. Press ? anytime to open this.
Getting started
Save your first link
Tap the + button and paste any link — a Reddit thread, YouTube video, TikTok, Instagram post, or article. We fetch the title and thumbnail and file it into a category automatically.
Save from other apps (share sheet)
In Reddit, YouTube, TikTok, Safari — tap Share → Later Jar. The link lands in your library instantly. On the web app, we also detect a copied link when you return to the app and offer to save it.
Import your old screenshots
Tap + → Import a screenshot (or just paste one with Ctrl+V, or drag it in — multiple at once works). We read the text in the image; if there's a link in it we save the real link, otherwise the screenshot itself becomes a searchable save with its text extracted. Tap any screenshot inside its viewer — sealed or not — to see it full-screen. Your screenshot graveyard becomes a library.
Categories
Every save is filed into one of 12 categories (Watch, Read, Recipes, Tech, Fitness, Travel, Food & Drink, Shopping, Music, Funny, Ideas, Other). Open any item to re-file it — tap a different category inside the viewer.
Your library
Watch or read something
Tap a card. YouTube plays right inside the app. TikTok, Instagram and Reddit open in their own app, exactly where you left off — that's where they play best.
Up next vs Finished — and the glow
Unopened saves carry a small firefly glow in their corner — still waiting for you. Opening an item's link marks it Finished and the glow goes out (flip it back anytime inside the viewer). "Up next" shows everything still glowing.
Search
The search bar matches titles, descriptions, authors and links. Combine it with a category chip to narrow further.
Surprise me (the star button)
The star in the top bar resurfaces one save you haven't gotten to — preferring things you saved a few days ago and forgot. One tap, a little serendipity, no doomscrolling required.
Share a save
Open the item and tap Share — it uses your device's share sheet (or copies the link on desktop). Great for sending that recipe to someone without leaving your library.
Delete a save
Open the item and tap Remove. Gone immediately — no trash, no clutter.
Under the lid (sealed saves)
What is sealing?
Pro can move any save under the lid — it disappears from your board and search, and its contents are encrypted with a key made from your PIN. Tap the lock in the top bar to open the sealed section. Your PIN is required every single time — closing the sheet re-seals the jar instantly, so handing someone your phone never leaves the lid open. And once you're in, you're working inside the jar: tap any sealed save to watch the video or open the link right there — no need to unseal anything. Great for gift ideas, surprises, and anything that's nobody's business.
How private is it, really?
Actually private. Sealed saves are encrypted on your device (AES-256) before they're stored — the server only ever holds scrambled text. We could not read them if we wanted to.
What if I forget my PIN?
There is no recovery — that's the point of real encryption. If you forget your PIN, sealed saves are unreadable forever. Your open library is unaffected.
